SINCE 1935

From the Qing Dynasty (1644–1912), the LUYUAN–LIN family has been a tea manufacturer in Fujian, China.

1935
The LUYUAN–LIN family was invited by the Yilan local government to cultivate land, grow Chinese tea, and provide technical training to local farmers. The tea manufacturer was named LUYUAN.

In the late 1970s, the business relocated to its present location and transitioned into a retail tea house.

    1. Founded in Yilan, Taiwan
      Lin Chuan(林川), the first-generation successor, began cultivating Chinese tea and training local farmers in 1935.
    1. Reclaimed the Eastern Land of Taiwan
      Lin Gu(林古), the second-generation successor, was invited by the Taitung local government to reclaim land and cultivate Chinese tea. He became the first person to successfully grow Oolong tea in eastern Taiwan.
    1. Planted Tea Saplings for Sale
      Lin Yu-Chin(林煜進), the third-generation successor, was a professional tea maker who also cultivated and sold tea saplings.

    1. Appointed Instructor for Tea Tree Protection
      Delegated by the Agriculture and Forestry Division of the Taiwan Provincial Government
    1. Awarded Second Place in the Taiwan Premium Tea Competition
    1. Appointed Special Agricultural Courier
      Delegated by the Agriculture and Forestry Division of the Taiwan Provincial Government
    1. Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award of Yilan
      Presented by the local government to one of the top ten outstanding young persons of the year in Yilan, Taiwan
    1. Awarded Second Prize in the Yilan Premium Tea Competition
    1. Awarded First Prize in the Yilan Premium Winter Tea Competition
    1. Excellent Award in the Plant Protection Competition of Taiwan Core Farmers
    1. Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award of Taiwan
      Presented by the Taiwan government to one of the top ten outstanding young persons of the year in Taiwan
    1. Merit Award in the Plant Protection Competition of Taiwan Core Farmers
    1. Certified in Tea Brewing and Tasting
    1. Certified for Teaching Practice at the Tea Research and Extension Station, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan
    1. Awarded Third Prize in the Oriental Beauty Tea Competition
