LUYUAN TEA HISTORY
SINCE 1935

From the Qing Dynasty, LUYUAN-LIN FAMILY has been a tea manufacturer in Fujian, China.

In 1935, LUYUAN-LIN FAMILY was invited to the local government to cultivate the earth to grow Chinese tea and to provide tea-producing technical training to farmers in Yilan, Taiwan. Named the manufacture LUYUAN.

LUYUAN used to be a tea manufacturer and the export trade wholesaler. In the late 1970s, we moved to the present place and changed to be a retailer.

    1. Founded in Yilan, Taiwan
      Our legacy began in 1935 by Lin Chuan, invited by the local government of Yilan to grow Chinese tea and to provide tea-producing technical training to farmers.
    1. Reclaimed the eastern land of Taiwan
      Lin Gu, the second successor of LUYUAN was invited by the local government of Taitung to reclaim land and to grow Chinese tea. He was the first person to grow up Chinese Oolong tea in the east of Taiwan.
    1. Planted tea saplings for sale
      Lin YuChin, the third successor of LUYUAN. He was not only a professional tea maker but also planted tea saplings for sale.
    1. Obtained a business license
    1. Acted as an instructor for tea tree protection
      Delegated by Agriculture and Forestry Division of the Taiwan Provincial Government, to the instructor for tea tree protection
    1. Awarded second place in Taiwan premium tea competition
    1. Acted as a special courier of agricultural
      Delegated by Agriculture and Forestry Division of the Taiwan Provincial Government, to the special courier of agricultural
    1. Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award of Yilan
      Presented by local government, to the top ten outstanding young persons in the year in Yilan, Taiwan.
    1. Awarded second prize in Yilan premium tea competition
    1. Awarded the first prize in Yilan premium winter tea competition
    1. Attained Excellent Award in plant protection competition of Taiwan core farmers
    1. Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award of Taiwan
      Presented by the Taiwan government, to the top ten outstanding young persons in the year in Taiwan.
    1. Attained Merit Award in plant protection competition of Taiwan core farmers
    1. Certified to Tea Brewing and Tasting Certification
    1. Certified to teaching practice in Tea Research and Extension Station, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan
    1. Awarded the third prize in Oriental Beauty Tea Competition
    1. Attained Outstanding Award in Yilan premium winter tea competition(new varieties group)
    1. Awarded the second prize in Yilan premium tea competition
